Khaled Wahba is an adjunct Associate Professor at a number of universities, business and technical schools located in variouscountries such as Canada, the Netherlands, Romania, Peru, Colombia, Suriname, Kuwait and Egypt. With more than 20 years of teaching experience in the academic field, Khaled has dedicated his career as a freelance trainer and instructor with a focus on Data Analysis, Decision Making, Quantitative Research Methods, Systems Thinking and System Dynamics. His goal is to share extensive knowledge and experience outside the academic field, targeting corporate and business clients. Individuals trained represent different sectors such as Petroleum, Cement, Banking and ICT.

Khaled completed his BSc and MSc at Cairo University, Systems and Biomedical Engineering Department, Egypt in 1985 and 1989 respectively. He received his PhD from Aachen University of Technology in Germany, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Since returning from Germany, he is an Associate Professor in Systems and Biomedical Engineering, Cairo University, Egypt.

In addition to over 95 academic and business publications, Khaled co-authored a book in 2007 with Professors S. Jones and B. van der Heijden titled “How to Write Your MBA Thesis”. This publication became the standard textbook adopted by the Maastricht School of Management, the Netherlands for MBA students across 22 outreach programs. Khaled also co-authored various chapters in books in the field of knowledge management. Furthermore, he supervised over 400 theses and dissertations in biomedical engineering, and management.

Khaled has developed his own portfolio of training courses that he believes are essential for any organization to understand the complexity of business and the decision making process. His courses such as: kwantiTM, Data Analytics for Impact DAFI(c), Life Design©, Pizzatistics®, Research Skills for Business always provide a framework for participants to help change their mindset and the way they think both professionally and personally.

Beside his interest in training, teaching, supervision and research, for over 6 years Khaled served as the Director and Academic Advisor of a regional education and training institution (RITI), located in Egypt. During his time as Director, RITI was considered the leading provider of postgraduate studies and professional training in the Egyptian market.

Afterwards, Khaled served as the CEO of an IT startup company operating in Egypt and the UAE for 4 years. After which, he shifted his career path to extend his experience and knowledge in academia, to corporate and private sector clients.

On a consultancy basis, Khaled has participated with the Maastricht School of Management to design and develop a management program for the staff of the Ministry of Irrigation and Water Resources, in Egypt. Moreover, he is currently involved in building a System Dynamic Model for the adoption of electronic healthcare records in Egypt on behalf of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology and for the Ministry of Health and Population.

Khaled is frequently invited to give talks and presentations in his field both inside and outside Egypt. He was also an active member and board member of various international societies, conferences and academic journals. Mrs. Yasmeen Al-Musallam, Vice Chairman & CEO

Yasmeen is the co-founder and CEO of HRD Global. She is also the cofounder of Kuwait Maastricht Business School (KMBS), Maastricht School of Management- Kuwait (MSM-Kuwait), the British Global Institute of Training and Education (BITE Global) and the founder of the Retail Academy Global and the Cooperative Academy.

Yasmeen has more than 24 years of professional experience. She has MSc in Training and Human Resource Management, University of Leicester- UK and BS in English Literature and Language-Kuwait University. Yasmeen has been certified with a number of international certifications since 1995:

  • Lead Auditor ISO 9001 (1994- 2000-2008-2012)- BSI/ UK. She is scheduled to attend ISO 9001- 2015 in September.
  • Cert IV in Workplace Assessment and Training – The Australian National Qualifications (AQF).

Yasmeen had received many awards for her academic and sports achievements.

Yasmeen began her professional career in 1991. She had worked for the public sector for 11 years and for the private sector for 10 years. In 2013, Yasmeen became the managing partner of HRD Global. In the public sector, she worked as a faculty member in The Higher Institute for Telecommunication and Navigation of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET), Head of Section (21 full time staff-21 part time staff- 2000 students (vocational education Diploma).

Yasmeen is a well experienced management consultant and coach. She designs and delivers professional executive coaching and tutoring programs for business owners and their foreseen business leaders of the second and third generations.

Ehab Shalaby, Ph.D, Economics

A Researcher, lecturer and Consultant in the field of economics and Sustainable Development. With more than 15 years of experience, Shalaby worked on research, public and private policy advising on economic development and Sustainable Development Strategies and Policies; on the local, regional and international level.

 

His core motivation is embedding Sustainable Development philosophy and culture in the national and international contexts and in particular economic Strategy and Policy planning implementation, evaluation, and quality assurance.

 

He received his MSc and Ph.D. in Sustainable Development from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University, Cairo, Egypt in cooperation with Free university of berlin. His teaching experience started in 2000 with the University of District of Columbia, Cairo branch and the modern academy for management technology. He is a visiting lecturer at the faculty of economics and political science Cairo university master degree, European program. Recently he engaged as a visiting lecturer at the Maastricht school of management MBA prog in Kuwait.
He is a certified GRI (Global reporting initiative) trainer & a certified EFQM assessor.

 

Among others, his experience spans from public consultations including preparation of Egypt’s INDCs report submitted to the UNFCCC Secretariat in Oct 2015, Egypt Sustainable Development Strategy (2030), and Egypt’s Voluntary National Review on SDGs submitted to the high level political forum HLPF in July 2016, strategic review report of the World Food Program delivered to WB in 2017, to private consultations including; Developing institutional frameworks, capacity building and education for SD strategy implementations. In addition, Shalaby has a numerous peered papers and working papers in the field of Sustainable Development strategies and policies. His familiarity with data ecosystems on the environmental, social and economic systems stems from his experience in preparation of these reports which covers the three dimensions of SD. Ehab Shalaby is the founder and CEO of DCarbon Egypt, the only Global reporting certified training partner in Egypt and a member of the golden community. Currently Shalaby is working on a number of projects and consultations including participating in developing Egypt’s first national Biennial Updated report, Egypt’s first Carbon Market and Egypt’s Low Emission carbon Strategy.

Hamed M. Shamma, Management

Professor Shamma is the BP Endowed Chair and Associate Professor of Marketing at the School of Business, at The American University in Cairo (AUC), Egypt. He received his Ph.D. in Marketing from the George Washington University in Washington, DC (USA). He also holds a Bachelor’s of Arts (BA) in Business Administration with specialization in Marketing and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with a double concentration in Marketing and International Business from the AUC.

 

Professor Shamma co-authored the first Arab Word Edition of Marketing Management, – the most widely used marketing book in graduate business schools worldwide – with Philip Kotler and Kevin Keller. He also published several papers in leading journals such as: the Journal of Product and Brand Management, International Journal of Marketing Studies, Benchmarking: An International Journal, International Journal of Economics & Business Research, International Journal of Commerce and Management and International Journal of Customer Relationship Marketing & Management among others. His research interests are in the areas of corporate marketing, strategic brand management, and customer relationship management (CRM).

 

Recently he has been working on other topics including: political marketing, marketing of e-government services, social marketing and entrepreneurial marketing. He was invited to contribute to a book chapter with the following paper: “A Multiple Stakeholder Perspective for Measuring Corporate Brand Equity: Linking Corporate Brand Equity with Corporate Performance.”

 

Professor Shamma presented a variety of papers at leading international conferences such as the American Marketing Association Annual Conference, Academy of Marketing Science Annual Conference, Annual Macromarketing Conference and the Society for Marketing Advances Annual Conference among others.” He received the best paper award at the 9th Annual World Congress of the Academy for Global Business Advancement in 2012. He received the best paper award for his paper “Customer Relationship Management in Professional Service Organizations: Factors Influencing CRM Adoption and Use in the Building Industry,” presented at the Annual Society for Marketing Advances Conference in 2006.

 

Professor Shamma taught a variety of courses including: marketing management, consumer behavior, marketing research, marketing strategy and marketing of services. He has been a guest speaker to several other courses including: strategic brand management, advertising and promotion management, retail management, marketing information systems and e-marketing.

 

Professor Shamma has over four years of corporate experience at Mobinil, a subsidiary of Orange – a leading telecommunications service provider – and Egypt’s leading mobile service operator. He was involved with corporate performance assessment, analysis, forecasting and budgeting. This included developing the company’s balanced scorecard and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), analyzing the company’s performance in relation to forecast and conducting benchmarking exercises. Dr. Shamma received several awards of recognition for his achievements at Mobinil. He was especially recognized for presenting an in-depth prepaid market analysis and suggesting courses of actions and recommendations. His Ph.D. dissertation study – which was built on his prior experience – involved examining the corporate reputation of the major wireless operators in the U.S. as viewed by different stakeholder groups.

 

Professor Shamma conducted training and consulting for several organizations in the areas of corporate branding, corporate reputation, marketing strategy, consumer perceptions analysis and brand development and management. He is specialized in examining corporate-level issues about organizations such as: corporate reputation, corporate branding, corporate image, corporate reporting and corporate performance. He consulted and provided training to various organizations such as: Ministry of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Administrative Development, Eva Pharma, Orange Labs, Etisalat Misr, Goldman Sachs Women Entrepreneurship and Leadership, Management Center, the International Advertising Association (IAA), Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), Flat 6 Labs, LearnServe, Fekrety, the Future Generation Foundation, Prana for Self and Corporate Development and Artrac among many others.

David is the Managing Consultant of Resource Productivity Consulting Services (RPCS), founded in 2000. His consulting practice specialises in strategic development and productivity improvement programs. David has consulted & provided training in private manufacturing & service organisations as well as Government bodies. Key areas of focus are Strategic Business Planning, Efficiency improvement programs, process planning & re-engineering, work measurement, quality management (He is an ISO9000 internal auditor), and Human Resource Development. He has consulted in the pharmaceutical, medical products, furniture, metal, bottling, food, clothing, electronics, Information Technology, fibreglass, printing, postal, Moviemaking, accounting, banking, import-export, retail, medical, ship repair, recycling, and real estate industries. 

He is also the Managing Partner of an International Partnership, “Eureka! Advisor”, formed in 2021, offering educational thesis supervision consulting services to Universities, Business Schools, and students. He has supervised and examined numerous student thesis papers over the years related to Academic Research, Business Planning and Consulting Projects from his international student body.

He is also a senior lecturer at Maastricht School of Management, Maastricht University, the Netherlands, lecturing MBA level on topics like Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Change Management, Leadership, Human Resource Management, Strategy, Operations Management and Supply Chain Management. My name is Riham Moawad, I am blessed to have two occupational hats ( Academic as well as Professional/ Practitioner). Regarding my Professional/ Practitioner hat, I am currently holding the roles of Human Resources Director and Leadership Consultant - Esri North Africa as well as the CEO of ABLE for Training and Consultation. As for my academic role, I am appointed as an Examiner & Adjunct Faculty – MSM; Maastricht School of Management, Netherlands. Throughout my past 25 years of experience, I was privileged to work as an educator as well as human resources, organization behavior and leadership practitioner while supporting various and distinctive not for profit as well as profit organizations that are operating in the Governmental, Industrial, Pharmaceutical, Educational, Hospitality, Training, Telecommunication, Banking, GIS; Geographical Information Systems, Medical, Information Technology, Oil and Gas sectors.

 

Furthermore, I was always passionate about exploring worldwide applied Business and Management theories and applications. Thus, I fulfilled my passion by acquiring my MBA; Master in Business Administration, degree that was followed by my Mphil; Master of Philosophy, as well as Doctorate Degree in organization behavior. My doctoral research tackled leadership qualities and its impact on staff retention and job satisfaction. I was awarded my doctoral degree by Maastricht School of Management, Netherlands in March 2017. Throughout 2014, 2015 and 2016, I published four articles on leadership in the international journal of Effective Executive. Dr. Dalia Abd-Allah is an Egyptian professional/consultant with more than 18 years of experience in
private sector development, institutional capacity building, industrial support, policy design, moderation
& facilitation, negotiating sensitive issues with international government and corporate entities, and
facilitating national and global supply chain linkages.

Dr. Dalia had led an international public fund supporting and faciliating business innovation schemes
resulting in more than $50 million of investment, creation of 1,500 to 2,000 jobs across more than 700
SMEs and start-ups. Policy-wise, she acted for 5 years at the Egyptian Cabinet of Minister of International
Cooperation as the Desk Officer for economic & trade cooperation between the Egyptian Government
and European Financing Institutions including: European Commission in Cairo, European Bank for
Reconstruction and Development as well as European Investment Bank. Moreover, she has also more
than 10 years of experience of managing and leading multi-culture teams. In addition to various local and
global consultancy assignments as a Subject Matter Exert in fields of corporate innovation, SME and
start-up support schemes including access to finance and investment, as well as international business.

Dr. Dalia is also an Adjunct Faculty/Lecturer for Innovation, International Business Studies,
Contemporary Management, Strategic Management, and Entrepreneurship to both undergraduate & MBA
students as well as industry professionals. She holds Doctorate degree in Business Administration (DBA)
from Maastricht School of Management (MsM)- Maastricht University (MU)-the Netherlands, from
where she previously earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. She also holds Master
of Science (MSc) degree from Faculty of Economics and Political Science- Cairo University; from which

Mohamed Abdel Kader Basuony

Mohamed A. K. Basuony is a Chair and Professor, Department of Accounting at the School of Business at the American University in Cairo. Prior to that, he worked at the German University in Cairo and Faculty of Commerce, Ain Shams University. He received both his Bachelor with honours and Master Degree from the same university. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from Brunel University in the UK. His work experience includes more than twenty-five years as a trainer with multinational companies and teaching undergraduates as well as post-graduates in Egypt and the UK. His areas of research are in performance management, balanced scorecard, management and strategic control, corporate governance, and corporate social responsibility. Moreover, he is the Financial Advisor for the IT Industry companies in Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, a Subsidiary of Information Technology Development Agency, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology. He is   Board Member in FEPS Business Incubator and Loop Trading.

 

He has been involved in a number of high profile transactions and investment management in RSM Financial Advisory, MH&P Management & Financial Consultants, Mashreq Capital, Al Ahly for Development and Investment, NAEEM Holding, IT Investment and Joint Arab Investment Corporation.

 

He is also an Adjunct Faculty at Executive Education; the American University in Cairo, Edinburgh Business School, Maastricht School of Management, and Maastricht University; the Netherlands, ESLSCA University and Swiss School of Management, teaching Finance and Investment in MBA and Postgraduate Programs.

 

He holds a Doctorate Degree in Business Administration, with specialization in Finance, from Ain Shams University, 2012. He Graduated from Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University, 1997 with major of Economics and Political Science minor.

Rajni Kant Sharma

Dr Rajni Kant Sharma is associated with MsM Netherlands since year 2000, and with MsM Kuwait specifically since 2015, as a Consultant and Adjunct Faculty for MBA and Executive programs in fields of Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Services Management, Strategies for Growth, Business Alliances and Management of Technology & Innovation. Having lectured in 24 countries, he carries an immensely active teaching and consulting experience, especially in context of management and business development from ‘emerging’ world perspective. In addition to management education, he is engaged in training and consultancy for sustainable development, fair trade, ethical supply chains, CSR and Social Entrepreneurship through his affiliations with Fairtrade Original Foundation (Netherlands) and Growdiesel Consortium (India). Besides his Lecturing and Consultancy stint of over 22 years, he carries a 14 years of prior work experience in food and consumer products’ industries in the fields of operations, marketing, international trade, franchise development and foreign office management that also includes firsthand experience of international business management in economic crisis situation. Developing organizational strategies for growth and vitality is his forte, mentoring ethical and sustainable businesses is his current lure and teaching remains his passion.
